3 step Process on how to find your Roof Leak
1. Search for leak signs.
Run water through your roof to check for the exact location. If running water doesn’t reveal the exact location of the leak, don’t be timided, call your nearest Roofing Contractor
2. Start removing shingles in the suspect area.
With them removed, there’ll be evidence of the leak and you’ll be able to track it down right to the source. Its Normal to see discolored felt paper or water-stained or even rotted wood directly below and around it.
You know the roof is bad if shingles are missing or obviously damaged, or when water stains the ceiling or walls.
The goal is to find the leak before the entire roof goes bad. Finding the actual spot where the roof leaks is difficult because water can enter the roof in one place and run down to another before it starts soaking into the ceiling.
3. Call your Local Roof Contractor
Call your Local Roofing Contractor and explain to them your situation, its better for them if you have pictures. Generally, if you are prepared they will give you a discount
